What’s better than having a cold beer in one hand and a warm pretzel in the other?
Enjoying them in Von Elrod’s open-air beer garden!
All of our pretzels are baked fresh in-house daily. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried one yet!
Our pretzels go well with any of our beers, but they especially go well with a nice crisp hefeweizen, pilsner, or lager. They’re huge, shareable, and perfect to start your meal or refuel after a few brews when you’re craving something salty.
April 26 is National Pretzel Day, and we’re celebrating with free classic pretzels, but you gotta know the codeword to get yours. Get it at the end of today’s blog!
Von Elrod’s Housemade Pretzels
Pretzels are a staple in German beer gardens and Munich’s Oktoberfest. Known as “brezel” in German, they’re one of the most iconic foods from Germany.
Von Elrod’s was inspired by our founder’s trip to Oktoberfest, so it was a no-brainer that they’d be on our menu. We offer three options, each with their own twist. Get it? 😉
Classic Bavarian Pretzel
Served with warm beer cheese and bearwalker brown mustard
Smoked Jalapeño & Cheddar Pretzel
Served with buttermilk dill dipping sauce
Pepperoni & Cheese Pretzel
Served with mozzarella, pepperoni, and a side of marinara
Join us on April 26 for National Pretzel Day! Use the code word “Twisted” when you place your order (dine-in only!) to get yours!
PS – If you can’t make it, remember every Tuesday is Free Pretzel Tuesday at Von Elrod’s. Just buy any 2 beers and get a free classic pretzel, all day long!
