When it comes to parties, we live to do things big. Our favorite party of the year is right around the corner. That’s right! It’s Oktoberfest in Germantown. We’re celebrating with multiple events leading up to and throughout the event. Nothing brings people together like a few cold ones in our outdoor beer garden. Come grab a drink and enjoy the party! Here’s a list of everything we’re planning at our Germantown restaurant for the occasion. We’ll catch you in the beer garden!
Okto-Beer-Fest: Friday, October 4th | 5-9pm
No one said we couldn’t start celebrating Oktoberfest early, and we’re doing it the best way possible – with tons of German beer. Bring your crew to Von Elrod’s from 5pm-9pm on October 4th for Okto-Beer-Fest to sample & vote on your favorite local Oktoberfest and Märzen-style beers! You’ll be able to taste all your local favorites from Nashville Brewing Company, Bearded Iris, TailGate Brewery, Black Abbey, Little Harpeth & Jackalope!
Stein & Swine Fall Beer Garden Picnic: Saturday, October 5th | 12-6pm
You know that if we’re having a picnic, we’re going all out! With Whole Hog BBQ from Home Place Pastures along with housemade sausages, sauerkraut, & sides — there’s no way that you’ll leave this event hungry. Add in some local Oktoberfest & Märzen-style beers, and you might never want to leave.
Come dine with us on October 5th from 12:00-6:00pm for a meal you’ll be thinking about for days to come.
Rockabilly Brunch: Sunday, October 6th | 9:30am-2pm
We’re making our Sunday Brunch even better by adding live music in the beer garden for a special Rockabilly Brunch on October 6th from 9:30am-2:00pm. We know it can be hard to choose between our brunch staples like Malted Blueberry Pancakes and Chicken Fried Chicken Biscuits. At least you and your squad can all agree that ordering a Big A** Mimosas is a must for everyone.
Big Stein Thursday – Oktoberfest Edition: Thursday, October 10th | 4pm-close
Break out the lederhosen and dirndls for Big Stein Thursday: Oktoberfest Edition on October 10th! Come get any BIG beer for the price of a small beer from 4pm-close and put your strength to the test at our Stein Holding Contest that kicks off at 8pm. We’ll be hosting an Oktoberfest Costume Contest (with cash prizes) for those that show up in their best Bavaria attire.
Nashville Oktoberfest: Thursday, October 10th – Sunday, October 13th
Located in the center of Germantown, Von Elrod’s will be a mainstay of Nashville’s official Oktoberfest happening Thursday, October 10 through Sunday October 13. More details on Nashville Oktoberfest can be found here.
