Veteran local chef Jason Brumm is joining A.Ray Hospitality as partner and chef for an undisclosed new concept, president and founder Austin Ray announced Wednesday.
Ray (pictured), the restaurateur known for M.L. Rose, said in a release details for the concept will be announced “in the coming months.”
Most recently, Brumm was culinary operations director for Strategic Hospitality. In 2005, he opened the since-closed Radius 10 in The Gulch.
Ray said the future project “will fill an unmet need in a neighborhood we’re very excited about.”
“Jason’s skillset reaches every area necessary to build an exceptional brand,” Ray said in the release. “Not only does he have the talent as a chef and menu developer, but he shares my vision for this concept we are both over the moon for. For 15 years, Jason and I have enjoyed eating together and talking about food in Nashville and around the country.”
