If you’ve visited us, you’re well aware that our beer selection is second to none. Whether you like refreshing, crisp cold brews, or a stronger, hoppy alternative, we offer a wide array of options for all tastes and preferences under the sun.
BUT the world of beer is ever expanding; and it regularly expands to include even more flavors and iterations to try. And because we love beer so much — as much as you do — we’re adding new selections to our menu!
Which ones? Glad you asked! Get your reading glasses, ‘cause there’s plenty to browse through.
New Draft Beers on Tap
We’re not just adding one or two brews. We mean business. Let’s go down the list so that you can start taking notes on which ones you want to try out first:
1. Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat Ale
Beers with tropical notes are always fan favorites; and Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat Ale is no exception. And we’re not talking about just a hint of mango. If you love this fruit, you’ll love this beer!
2. Hi-Wire Mountain Water Citrus Splash Ale
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys a good seltzer, Hi-Wire Brewing’s Mountain Water Citrus Splash will likely become a new favorite. It’s citrusy, with notes of key lime; and it’ll remind you of summer year-round.
3. Harding House Church Parking Lot Party
Harding House Brewing Co. is a Nashville local, and their Church Parking Lot beer is an American light lager made with locally sourced grain and corn, for a crisp, fresh taste.
4. Rhinegeist Gold Record Kölsch
If you love lagers and ales, you’ll want to start out with this one. Rhinegeist Gold is a hybrid of both, making it light, crisp, with malty notes.
5. New Belgium VooDoo Ranger 1985
Here’s another one for the tropical fruit lovers! The New Belgium Voodoo Ranger 1985 is a hazy IPA with strong mango notes and guava and pineapple aromas.
6. Blackberry Farm IPA
Blackberry Farm Brewery is another Tennessee local, and this IPA is a perfect blend of hops and citrus, with complex aromas to keep you guessing.
7. Bell’s Two Hearted American IPA
Bell’s Two Hearted Ale is made with 100% Centennial hops, with a flavor profile that includes notes of pine and grapefruit.
8. Grevensteiner Original
Of course we’re also bringing in an old-style German ale! Grevensteiner Original has a malty and sweet body. It’s smooth and nutty, and has slight butterscotch notes.
9. Revolution Freedom Lemonade Session Sour
A summer favorite, Revolution Freedom Lemonade Session Sour is tart and sweet, since it combines real lemons with cane sugar.
10. Destihl Hawaii Five Ale
The Destihl Hawaii Five Ale is a fruity blonde ale that brings together a wide range of tropical flavors: guava, coconut, mangle, pineapple, and peach.
11. Urban Chestnut Schnickelfritz
If you prefer warm, spicy notes, Urban Chestnut Schnickelfritz delivers with notes of cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla, with slight banana flavor.
12. Guinness Draught Stout
For fans of a good classic stout, we bring Guinness Draught. In fact, this was the first beer brewed by Arthur Guinness. It’s rich, creamy, and full of flavor.
13. Dogfish Head SeaQuench Ale
If you like margaritas, you’ll love Dogfish Head SeaQuench Ale. This brew is all about limes and sea salt, and it’ll remind you of days at the beach.
Cocktails, Cocktails, and More Cocktails!
Alright. So our cocktail selection is shorter, but it’s definitely sweeter. If you’re into the mixed drinks variety, we’re happy to let you know that we’re also adding new ones to our menu:
Homemade Ranch Water
You gotta stay hydrated, right? Do so with sparkling mineral water… and tequila, agave, and lime.
Passionfruit Cosmo
It’s like Sex and the City, but tropical. This cocktail mixes vodka with passionfruit, served in the fancy kind of glass that makes you feel slightly more sophisticated.
Tommy’s Frozen Margarita
It’s ok to stick with a tried and true favorite. Get your tequila, agave, and lime and sip it like a Slurpee.
Frozen Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade
Because berries have antioxidants, and you gotta keep that skin looking young and healthy. Made with vodka, strawberries, rhubarb, and lemon.
Upcoming Summer Events at Von Elrod’s
Although you don’t really need an excuse to try out a new drink, we’ll still give you some; because it’s always good to celebrate life — especially when the days are hot, and our AC is blasting and ready to cool you down.
